15 and 16 Week Update (so sorry for the delay, AGAIN)

*This week the baby is:   3.5-5.3 oz, and about 5 inches long
*How far along:  15w5d
*Due Date: September 24th, 2013.
*Total Weight gain/loss: Hopefully about the same.  It was a few days ago last I checked.
*Maternity ClothesI'm wearing my new jeans and especially enjoying the one pair of skinnys.  Much much more comfortable than the other ones with constricting and low elastic bands.  I'm almost to the point of starting to wear maternity tops but it still feels a bit funny like I'm trying to display my chub.  But I think I look more pregnant now so soon I hope I feel more comfortable with displaying the belly.
*Sleep:  Still needing sleep.  If I don't get enough (about 9 hours, I feel more sick throughout the day and have been getting headaches that tell me to get into bed.  Too busy to sleep these days it seems.
*Best moment this week:  Movement!  See below...
*Movement?  Since around 14 weeks I have been feeling baby move quite often where I'm sure it's the baby.  The first half of 14 weeks baby moved every day a few times for me.  I drove to J's parents one night and baby moved the whole way there.  But then after that night he didn't move for about 3 days.  Finally he moved again which was nice to feel again, as I'm a bit paranoid.  Then he moved some more days in a row for me and now the last two days I've maaaybe felt him twice.  But I'm not even too sure.  So hope the movement picks up and gets consistant.  On the way to MB the other day though I had a nice good kick to the middle of my low belly.  He seemed to be mostly kicking the right side but then recently I felt in the middle and on the left once too.  So he must be moving around in there.  :)
*Food Cravings:  No cravings that I can think of really.
*Symptoms: Hmmm  still having some gaggy feelings but have not gagged very many times in the past two weeks so I guess there is an improvement.  I still feel kinda gross sporadically and still quite frequently but overall it shows signs of letting up.  I'm still tired these days but I think the past half a week it is maybe getting better too.  Could I almost be past this early phase????!!  My boobs are still a monstrosity and aren't getting any smaller that's for sure; something I would rather not have to deal with, but I better get used to it because once baby comes they are going to expand even more.  YIKES.  I have been feeling today like my lower belly has gotten a recent work out.  Feels like sore muscles.  Guess all the stretching does that to a body.  Some ligament stretching every so often when I move suddenly but so far not an issue at all.  My eye site has been changing the past month.  Especially my left eye seemed to have gotten quite a bit worse really fast, so I got an eye appointment and new contacts to accommodate.  Hopefully they won't change anymore, and will maybe get better once I have the baby.
Gender:  It's a girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!            SIKE!  We still don't know.
*Labor Signs: No way hosea.
*Belly Button in or out:  Still slightly shallower.
*Feeling toward Pregnancy:  Pregnancy is a means to get a baby haha.  It's ok.  Hope it becomes a beautiful glowy thing soon.
*What I miss:  Getting a good nights sleep.
*What I'm looking forward to:  Moving back home.
*Milestones:  Movement!
*Any new stretchmarks: My boobs are getting more prominent ones.  Lovely.
*Things We Have Gotten:   We acquired a bunch of items from J's sister.  We got a vibrating chair, a turtle toy thing you can sit on, a car that converts into a walker, another walker toy with music and buttons, a baby car seat and older car seat (will be good for the first child, then we will have to buy new ones), a play pen and a high chair that you strap to a chair that comes with a toy top that snaps on to the tray.  I also bought from my mom's store some fabric for 5 receiving blankets and a nursing cover that I guess I will be attempting to sew together myself.  The blankets will be fine but the cover I might pawn that off on my mother if it's too tricky for me severely limited patience and knowledge of sewing.

  1. Wow, that is super early to feel the baby move, even for someone who has had a baby before! I didn't start feeling Tallet move and I knew it was him for sure till 20 weeks. And I would lay there still and wait to feel him.

I am glad you are liking the over the belly pants, they were my favorite!
