17 Weeks
*This week the baby is: About 5.3 inches long and 5.3-7oz. Baby was about 5 oz a week ago, so we're growing a little chubber. :)
*How far along: 17w1d
*Due Date: September 24th, 2013.
*Total Weight gain/loss: Since my 14 week appointment where I was up 14 pounds I have been trying to keep the weight from going up for a bit. Unfortunately, my body doesn't care that I'm eating less than before, and I gained 3 more pounds. Pretty depressing. Ugh. I think my body is just maybe one of those ones that holds onto every possible morsel and water weight. Lucky me. Now to try to gain only 5 more pounds or so by week 30. Is that even possible??
*Maternity Clothes: I wish I had a place to wear my maternity clothes but when we don't go out much and I wear the same thing to work day in and out it's kinda sad. I need to get summer gear soon. I have at least three weddings this summer/fall (the last one I may or not still be pregnant), so I want to buy some hot dresses. :) I need shorts and apparently I need tank tops that aren't see-through when the light shines a spotlight on my enormous and ever-growing tatas.
*Sleep: Yup still like to sleep, but it's getting a tad better.
*Best moment this week: Ultrasound at 16 weeks exactly!!!
*Movement? Seems like for the past week or so baby is moving a few times throughout each day now. Can't wait to feel baby on the outside and see my belly move.
*Food Cravings: None really.
*Symptoms: My nipples and area surrounding are just so sensitive. That's scary, how painful is breastfeeding going to be??! I hardly ever gag anymore but still feel sick for a while each day, but not too badly. My body parts go numb easier for some reason.

Gender: It's there.
*Labor Signs: Nope.
*Belly Button in or out: Still in.
*Feeling toward Pregnancy: Had a moment today of panic about whether or not I will like being a parent.
*What I miss: Sleeping better and not peeing every 5 seconds, and having smaller boobs and not freaking out about my weight gain.
*What I'm looking forward to: Feeling babies different parts through my belly.
*Milestones: We had our ultrasound last tuesday! We got to see the baby! He was moving around like crazy. We took video with our phones and picture too. That was a great time watching our little baby on that screen. Very joyous for sure! His head measured a week ahead and he weighed 5 oz which was the top end of the average.
*Any new stretchmarks: My boob's stretch marks from before are darkening on the side. Wonderful.

Ultrasound at 16 weeks!
We saw baby!!! Side profile to me still makes me think boy. Call me crazy but I see both me and JJ in his face. He was so wiggly and flipped positions constantly. His head measures a week ahead. Everything is either at 16 weeks or more in measurement. Jay has a big head so we'll see if it stays extra big. Another cool thing is my uterus is already sitting above my belly button so maybe I've been feels by baby kick more often then I've thought because I've been ignoring the feelings higher up when I shouldn't have been. So I guess my fundal height is measuring maybe 21 or so weeks? I thought it felt higher but I just figured I was feeling other stuff that had pushed up! And praise the Lord my cyst went from 10cms to 6cms!!! So glad!! Oh and the baby was approximately 5oz.
I shall try to post some pics of baby. And a side view of my belly. Belly pic will come later.

15 and 16 Week Update (so sorry for the delay, AGAIN)
*This week the baby is: 3.5-5.3 oz, and about 5 inches long
*How far along: 15w5d
*Due Date: September 24th, 2013.
*Total Weight gain/loss: Hopefully about the same. It was a few days ago last I checked.
*Maternity Clothes: I'm wearing my new jeans and especially enjoying the one pair of skinnys. Much much more comfortable than the other ones with constricting and low elastic bands. I'm almost to the point of starting to wear maternity tops but it still feels a bit funny like I'm trying to display my chub. But I think I look more pregnant now so soon I hope I feel more comfortable with displaying the belly.
*Sleep: Still needing sleep. If I don't get enough (about 9 hours, I feel more sick throughout the day and have been getting headaches that tell me to get into bed. Too busy to sleep these days it seems.
*Best moment this week: Movement! See below...
*Movement? Since around 14 weeks I have been feeling baby move quite often where I'm sure it's the baby. The first half of 14 weeks baby moved every day a few times for me. I drove to J's parents one night and baby moved the whole way there. But then after that night he didn't move for about 3 days. Finally he moved again which was nice to feel again, as I'm a bit paranoid. Then he moved some more days in a row for me and now the last two days I've maaaybe felt him twice. But I'm not even too sure. So hope the movement picks up and gets consistant. On the way to MB the other day though I had a nice good kick to the middle of my low belly. He seemed to be mostly kicking the right side but then recently I felt in the middle and on the left once too. So he must be moving around in there. :)
*Food Cravings: No cravings that I can think of really.
*Symptoms: Hmmm still having some gaggy feelings but have not gagged very many times in the past two weeks so I guess there is an improvement. I still feel kinda gross sporadically and still quite frequently but overall it shows signs of letting up. I'm still tired these days but I think the past half a week it is maybe getting better too. Could I almost be past this early phase????!! My boobs are still a monstrosity and aren't getting any smaller that's for sure; something I would rather not have to deal with, but I better get used to it because once baby comes they are going to expand even more. YIKES. I have been feeling today like my lower belly has gotten a recent work out. Feels like sore muscles. Guess all the stretching does that to a body. Some ligament stretching every so often when I move suddenly but so far not an issue at all. My eye site has been changing the past month. Especially my left eye seemed to have gotten quite a bit worse really fast, so I got an eye appointment and new contacts to accommodate. Hopefully they won't change anymore, and will maybe get better once I have the baby.

*What I miss: Getting a good nights sleep.

*Milestones: Movement!
*Any new stretchmarks: My boobs are getting more prominent ones. Lovely.

*Things We Have Gotten:
We acquired a bunch of items from J's sister. We got a vibrating chair, a turtle toy thing you can sit on, a car that converts into a walker, another walker toy with music and buttons, a baby car seat and older car seat (will be good for the first child, then we will have to buy new ones), a play pen and a high chair that you strap to a chair that comes with a toy top that snaps on to the tray. I also bought from my mom's store some fabric for 5 receiving blankets and a nursing cover that I guess I will be attempting to sew together myself. The blankets will be fine but the cover I might pawn that off on my mother if it's too tricky for me severely limited patience and knowledge of sewing.
